Miho Hirano si è laureata in pittura ad olio presso la Musashino Art University di Kodaira, ed è una delle più accattivanti giovani artiste dell’arte contemporanea giapponese. L’artista esplora i temi visivi della sensualità e della femminilità raffigurando donne bellissime i cui tratti fisici si mescolano con la natura che le circonda, laddove fiori, uccelli, pesci e acqua diventano accessori organici e viventi il cui scopo è quello di adornare le protagoniste al pari di gioielli. Gli sguardi sempre sfuggenti delle protagoniste dischiudono il tema della fuga dalla realtà esplorata dall’artista attraverso l’eccezionale tecnica della pittura su legno che si fonde con le fioriture e immersioni in acque limpide portandoci a contatto con sacralità del rapporto con la natura. In seguito ai suoi primi eventi di successo in Giappone e a mostre collettive e personali a Los Angeles, l’artista ha collaborato con Urban Nation al Project M/14 nel 2019. Graduated in Oil Painting from Musashino Art University in Kodaira, Miho Hirano is one of the most captivating Japanese artists in the contemporary art world. The artist explores the visual themes of sensuality and femininity by portraying beautiful women whose physical features blend with the nature surrounding them. Flowers, birds, fishes and water become organic accessories that adorn the protagonists, on par with precious jewels. The always fleeting glances of the protagonists symbolise the escape from reality, a theme thoroughly explored by the artist through an exceptional technique of oil on canvas that blends with the blooming flowers and immersions in clear waters, connecting us with the sacred relationship with nature. Following her first successful shows in Japan, as well as group and solo exhibitions in Los Angeles, the artist collaborated with Urban Nation on Project M/14 in 2019. She exhibits for the first time at Dorothy Circus Gallery.
